Indonesian Recipes: Soto Betawi


250 grams beef, cut into cubes so
4 tablespoons cooking oil, for sauteing
1 stalk lemongrass, crushed
3 cm galangal, crushed
2 bay leaves
3 lime leaves
500 ml thin coconut milk

4 grains of red onion
3 cloves garlic
3 eggs hazelnut
2 cm turmeric
1 / 2 tsp pepper grain, toasted
1 teaspoon salt

2 pieces of hard boiled eggs, cut into pieces
2 ripe tomatoes, cut lengthwise
1 orange juice, take the water
100 grams of fried chips
Chili sauce (such as sambal soto pasture)
How to make:

Stir-fry spices for 5 minutes. Insert pieces of meat, lemongrass, galangal, bay leaves, and lime leaves.
Stir-fry again until fragrant spices and the meat changes color.
Pour the coconut milk, boil and cook until meat is tender.
Pour soup into a bowl. Serve with complementary and sambal. (Serves 2)
