Typical Food Recipes Singapore Laksa

Laksa

Raw Materials
500g (1 lb) medium prawns
2 cups onions, peeled

500g (1 lb) dried rice noodles
300g (about 9 ounces) bean sprouts, soaked briefly in hot water
200g (7 oz) dried glass noodles, soaked hot water and drain

garnish
4 fresh red chilies, crushed
salt to taste
1 cucumber, peeled, seeded and thinly sliced
4 meatballs fish fried, sliced
1 bunch leaf (laksa leaves), thinly sliced

How to cook
Boil a pot of water and cook until shrimp turn pink. Remove and discard skin when cool and reserve prawns and stock. Blend onion, chili, shrimp paste, dried shrimp and pecans until smooth. Add the spice powder into this paste.

Heat oil in a pot large enough for the gravy. Enter pasta seasoning and add lemon grass stalks, then put a little water to prevent burning, until the oil rises to the surface. Garnish with shrimp, chopped fish meatballs, cucumber slices and leaves kesom. Pour the hot coconut milk and serve with mashed chillies mixed with a little salt.
